George Mason concluded their regular season schedule with a convincing 8 - 2 victory over Northern Virginia Community College in front of a raucous and supportive crowd last Friday night. The win propels Mason into the Blue Ridge Hockey Conference Playoffs with a BRHC final record of 7-5-1 (overall record of 16-9-1). After stumbling last weekend with losses to highly ranked Salisbury University and a skilled James Madison Dukes team, George Mason’s Ice Hockey program concludes their regular season schedule this Friday with a premier event at 9PM vs. Northern Virginia Community College at the Prince William Ice Center. George Mason’s offensive punch went up a notch with the addition of Dylan Talbot as a freshman member of their hockey program in 2011-12. A forward, Talbot has played hockey since he was seven including 4 years with Prince William Hockey Club, as well as the current Virginia State Champion – Woodbridge Senior High School Vikings hockey team.
